We planned a last minute trip to Menorca and booked the 6 hour excursion. We absolutely loved our guide Pere. As an educated archaeologist, he was able to explain many details about the island’s formation and history. We visited incredible historic archaeology sites, plus learned about the diversity of the island -its culture, heritage, and economy. We also experienced some of the gastronomy by cheese and wine tasting as well as learning the process used to create their remarkable cheese. We finished the day at a local shoe manufacturing outlet shop which was aspecial to take something with us from the local artisans. Thank you Menorca Discovery and Pere!
Went on a Discovery Land rover tour of hidden gems of Menorca. Saw some Roman archaeology and visited a lighthouse and a cave. I had a very knowledgeable guide and did some birdwatching around the lighthouse and cave. We also visited a cheese farm and saw how it was made and tasted the cheese. I would highly recommend this tour company. It is also useful to know there is a toilet at the Discovery pick up point and you can use the toilet at the cheese farm.
We took the Island Discovery tour in an open-top off-road vehicle, and I can’t recommend it enough! Would give it more than 5 stars, if possible. It’s the perfect way to see so much of the island in just one day. Our guide, Pere, was incredible- he’s a local who’s clearly proud of the island’s rich history, stunning geography, and vibrant culture. His enthusiasm was contagious, and his knowledge made the experience unforgettable. We actually wanted to stay another day just to explore more after this tour. I decided not to post pictures so I don’t spoil the surprises and sights- this is something you really need to experience for yourself!
It was our first time visiting Menorca and we went on the tour with Peter. My daughter and I enjoyed it immensely. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging and pleasant. As if we needed more reasons to fall in love with the island! Highly recommend❤️
Amazing experience. One of the best, if not the best, experience we had not only on Menorca but anywhere. Jeep travel around the island with private properties sounds great on its own but the real gem was the guide. Extremely knowledgeable, with a great approach to sharing that knowledge.
